06/06/2008 - Sarah Cotgreave of Novos becomes Fellow of Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply
The prestigious title of Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply has been awarded to Sarah Cotgreave, Managing Director of Novos Limited, for her high level of skill in strategic procurement.
The Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply is an international organisation, based in the UK, dedicated to promoting good practice in the purchasing and supply profession for the benefit of the wider business community.
From 2004 to 2007, Cotgreave led a programme to implement UK public sector eProcurement Solutions on behalf of OGCbuying.solutions and represented the UK within international public procurement forums and standards bodies. Around 150 organisations now use eProcurement Solutions and the eSourcing module won the 2007 Government Computing Award for Innovation in Shared Services.
Cotgreave was also a member of the UK government shared services team and has advised government ministries outside the UK, and leading global firms, on procurement, eProcurement and shared services. Her 20 years’ experience in procurement includes senior roles at GE, Barclays, investment bank Salomon Brothers and Reuters. Cotgreave is a former lecturer, examiner and legal committee member for the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply.
