It is the policy of Novos to ensure:
- the promotion and monitoring of the health, safety and welfare of all its employees at work, both in Novos offices and when traveling on company business to ensure that Novos is fulfilling its obligations as required by the Health and Safety 1974 Act and the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999.
- the protection of the health and safety of visitors, contractors, and members of the public at its establishment;
- the full compliance with the requirements of the 1974 Act and all other relevant legislation including the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health 2002 regulations (COSHH), Noise at Work and new EC Health and Safety legislation;
- that it provides such information, training, instruction and supervision as necessary to ensure the health and safety of its employees as far and practicably possible;
- that there are suitable arrangements for the safe use, handling, storage and transportation of articles and substances.
- a safe means of access and departure is provided to all places of work.
- To support any relevant office property Manager’s regulations, which requires the use of Method Statements and Health and Safety Inductions.
- The full compliance with the Disability Discrimination Act 1995 (DDSA).
